Keyvan Golestaneh M.A. - Executive Director
 
After 35 years of personal investigation and 25 years of working with people in the health, wellness and medical field, Keyvan believes that the best way to help people is through education. He is the founding member of the Conscious Health Institute.
 
Keyvan has a M.A. in Counseling Psychology and Chinese Medicine. He is cerfified in Structural Integration Body Therapy, Japanese acupuncture and Jin Shin Do acupressure. He also has a degree in Anthopology. He has extensive training in Body-centered and somatic Psychotherapy. He is a yoga teacher with over 25 years experience in numerous Asian Yogic traditions, Qi Gong, and meditation. Keyvan integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine, (herbal medicine & acupuncture), Ayurveda, Yoga, Structural bodywork, bioenergetic healing, and dietary and nutritional education into an integrated system of whole health. Van M. Cagle - Research Manager
 
Van M. Cagle holds a Master’s in Sociology and a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He has served as a Visiting Professor of Popular Culture at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) and as a Professor of Communication at Tulane University in New Orleans. Cagle has published widely in the field of cultural studies, including a critically acclaimed book on youth culture as well as writing on innovative hybrid research methodologies, contemporary mass media. Cagle also served as the Director of Research & Analysis at the foundation-based GLAAD Center for the Study of Media & Society (CSMS) in New York, where he directed over 40 award winning research projects that established the CSMS as the national leader in nonprofit cultural studies/media research. Cagle has also served as Project Manager for a wide variety of private sector companies and nonprofits. His most recent accomplishment is a study with Independent Forensics where he assisted with the development of the first ever genetic assay test for those with HIV/AIDS.
 
Jenny Cornbleet - Assistant Executive Manager and Educational Coordinator
 
Jennifer Cornbleet is a nationally recognized raw food instructor and author. She offers lectures, classes, and consultations nationwide. She also has a B.A. in music history from the University of Chicago, and taught high school English for three years. Jennifer is currently a faculty instructor at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, a raw food chef school in Fort Bragg, California. She is the author of two books, the bestselling Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People and Raw For Dessert.
 
Jessica Birthisel - Communications Assistant
Jessica Birthisel has a B.A. in Journalism and Graphic Journalism, an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication and is currently a doctoral candidate and an associate instructor at Indiana University's School of Journalism. She teaches courses on visual communication, multimedia storytelling, and race and gender in the media. Her research, which she has presented at national and international conferences, considers constructed representations of gender in the media. Her work is particularly interested in representations of masculinity in popular culture texts. Beyond academic teaching and research, her professional experience includes newspaper editing, writing and reporting; publication design; graphic design and freelance writing.
